چکیده
Incident in water distribution systems (WDS) cause loss and contamination that requires the utility managers to assess condition of pipelines a timely manner. However, are long access all parts it is chal-lenging task; current in-pipe robots have limitations short-distance inspection inability operate in-service networks. In this work, we improve design our previously developed robot analyze effect line pressure relative velocity on during operation with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations. An extreme scenario for defined estimate minimum distance one turn battery charge 5400m. A multi-phase motion controller proposed ensures reliable at straight non-straight configurations pipeline also stabilized configuration zero junctions. We propose localization navigation method based particle filtering combine controller. method, map provided localizes itself method. Furthermore, navigates different by switching between phases algorithm performed filter algorithm. The experiment simulation results show along shows promising solution towards long-distance robots.

Fuzzy Motion Control for Wheeled Mobile Robots in Real-Time
Due to various advantages of Wheeled Mobile Robots (WMRs), many researchers have focused to solve their challenges. The automatic motion control of such robots is an attractive problem and is one of the issues which should carefully be examined. In the current paper, the trajectory tracking problem of WMRs which are actuated by two independent electrical motors is deliberated. To this end, and ...

A general robotic mechanism was presented for in-pipe inspection oflevel pipes with varied diameter or curved pipelines. The robot employed three legs comprised of parallelogram linkages mechanism which enables adapting to various elbow joints in the piping systems. The curvatures in pipeline are the most important constraints in front of the robot through navigation process. To study the adapt...

In many autonomous mobile applications, robots must be capable of analyzing motion of moving objects in their environment. Duringmovement of robot the quality of images is affected by quakes of camera which cause high errors in image processing outputs. In thispaper, we propose a novel method to effectively overcome this problem using Neural Networks and Kalman Filtering theory. Thistechnique u...

متن کاملMotion Dynamics of Walking Robots with Multi-Rotor Drive Systems
In this paper a roll-walking motion of a robot with a multi-rotor drive system is considered. The robot represents a rigid body with the multi-rotor drive system which consists of pairs of conjugate rotors located on the main axes. The multi-rotor drive system allows using conjugate spinups and captures of conjugate rotors to perform roll-walking motion of the robot. To perform a single step of...
